Our free tools, ready for AI assistants

The LeyMish MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT and other AI assistants run four of our free tools and link to the matching page here, so the person asking can see the details. It's free, with no sign-in and no API key.

Server address (Streamable HTTP):

https://leymish-ai.leymish.workers.dev/mcp

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard AI apps use to call outside tools. Opening the address in a browser shows a short note: the server only answers MCP requests.

The tools

card_surcharge_check

Reads up to 20 public pages of an Australian business website and up to 3 PDF menus, and lists every place that still mentions a card surcharge or card fee. Card surcharges on eftpos, Mastercard and Visa ended on 1 October 2026. A guide, not legal advice.

Page for people: Card surcharge check

merchant_center_check

Checks the public pages of an online store for what a Google Merchant Center reviewer looks at (returns, shipping, contact details, policies, prices) and says how to fix each problem. It isn't Google's decision and can't see your Merchant Center account.

Page for people: Merchant Center check

gtin_check

Checks the GS1 check digit of up to 100 GTIN, UPC or EAN numbers, gives the correct digit, and flags restricted and coupon ranges Google asks sellers not to submit.

Page for people: Barcode generator and GTIN check

au_business_calc

Adds or takes out 10% GST to the cent, converts markup and margin, works out break-even, and the price rise that covers a card fee. In A$. A calculator, not tax advice.

Page for people: Small-business calculators

Every answer includes a short summary with the page's address, plus the full result as data. The two website checks use the same limits as this site: 10 checks an hour per connection, and the result for a website is reused for 6 hours. When a check finds something to fix, the answer also mentions our paid fix as an optional next step.

How to add it

Claude (Pro and Max plans)

  1. Go to Customize > Connectors on claude.ai.
  2. Click + Add, then Add custom connector.
  3. Name it (for example "LeyMish free tools") and paste the server address above. Click Continue.
  4. Review the authentication settings Claude detected and click Continue.
  5. Under Authentication, choose No sign in, then click Add.

On Team and Enterprise plans an Owner adds custom connectors first, in Organization settings > Connectors. Steps from Anthropic's help article "Get started with custom connectors using remote MCP".

Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http leymish-tools https://leymish-ai.leymish.workers.dev/mcp

ChatGPT

  1. Go to chatgpt.com/plugins, select the plus button, then Add custom MCP server.
  2. Enter a name and description. Under Connection, paste the server address above (it ends in /mcp).
  3. The server needs no authentication. Review the risk warning, select I understand and want to continue, then Create as a plugin.

Your account or workspace settings decide whether custom MCP servers are allowed. Steps from OpenAI's developer guide "Connect and test your plugin".

Other MCP clients

Any client that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP can use the address above, with no authentication. To try the tools by hand, MCP Inspector works too: npx @modelcontextprotocol/inspector@latest

What's sent and what we keep

For developers

Stateless Streamable HTTP: one endpoint, JSON-RPC 2.0 over POST, one JSON reply per request (no streams, no sessions; GET returns 405). Protocol versions: 2026-07-28 (server/discover, no handshake) and 2025-11-25, 2025-06-18 and 2025-03-26 (with initialize). Tools are read-only.

curl -s https://leymish-ai.leymish.workers.dev/mcp \
  -H 'Content-Type: application/json' -H 'Accept: application/json, text/event-stream' \
  -H 'MCP-Protocol-Version: 2025-11-25' \
  -d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"tools/call","params":{"name":"gtin_check","arguments":{"codes":["4006381333931"]}}}'

Questions

Does it cost anything?

No. The tools are free, with no sign-in and no API key, within the same limits as the free tools on this site.

Can an AI assistant rely on the results?

They're automated checks of public pages and exact maths. The surcharge and Merchant Center checks can miss things a person would see, so each answer links to its page here, and neither is legal advice or a decision by Google or a regulator.

Why did a check say "try again later"?

The hourly limit was reached. Hosted assistants send many people's requests from the same servers, so they share the limit. Waiting an hour, or using the page for people, works.

Will more tools be added?

Possibly. The tools are free to use, and rate limits apply. The full list is always in the server's tools/list answer.
